WINE FROM THE EDGE

We Kiwis and Oregonians might be competitors if we weren’t such good friends. For decades, New Zealand and Oregon winemakers have shared harvest interns, tips and techniques and more than a few glasses of wine. Residing on the 45th parallels along the Pacific Rim surrounded by volcanoes, foothills and rivers, it’s easy to see the commonalities that define our complex wines and laid back personalities.

For the first time ever, and for one day only, we teamed up to share with you the similarities, differences and critical learnings from more than 50 years of winegrowing on the edge. Make no mistake, we’re coming to break away from your “Other New World” category. We’re coming for a designated shelf in your shop, a proper title on your wine list and a bigger place in your heart for our emerging regions.
